Andrew Myers

Andrew and his wife, Cyndi, are Midwest natives, having both grown up in Colby, Kansas. Married in 2011, they have four young children—Nathaniel, Jackson, Levi, and Calvin. Life (read: school) has taken them first to Chicago and then to the Philadelphia area where they lived for nearly a decade, and where Andrew served as associate pastor at Trinity Church in Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

Andrew began serving at Covenant Church in 2023. His passion as a pastor is to see people gripped by the transforming power of God’s grace—delighting in knowing God, following Christ, and making him known.

A graduate of Moody Bible Institute (BA, 2013) and Westminster Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2017), Andrew is currently completing a PhD in Old Testament Studies from Westminster.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys reading, playing music—piano or guitar, both with profound mediocrity—and simply being with family and friends. As a family, Cyndi and Andrew spend much of their time outside, hiking, biking, or playing tennis—at which Andrew hopes to win someday.

Kevin Boesiger

Kevin Boesiger is the Director of Music and Outreach at Covenant Church. He has a bachelor’s in music education from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a master’s in music composition from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Kevin was drawn to Covenant because of the importance the church places on music and worship. Boesiger directs the choir, plans worship and special events, works with musicians and helps coordinate community outreach efforts. Kevin has many years of experience as a conductor and arranger/composer. His choral works are published with several established companies and his piano arrangement books are published with Lorenz Publishing. He has a desire to see people develop as musicians and loves working with individuals and groups both small and large. He also wants to be an encouragement to people to grow close to Christ so working in a full-time ministry is a perfect fit for him.

Kevin was born and raised in Nebraska and is married to Tami. They both lived in rural Southeast Nebraska and attended Norris School. They were not high school sweethearts but had many common interests in high school and finally realized after graduation they would make a great team. They have four grown children (all married) who keep them busy and entertained. They also enjoy spoiling their grandchildren.

Kevin Boesiger has over 25 years of experience building, running and developing music ministries and is excited to be part of the great team at Covenant and looks forward to serving the people of the church for many years to come.

Cindy Waldo

Cindy Waldo is the Director of Congregational Care at Covenant Church. Her passion for working with people in retail, college, and personnel fields led her to become a social worker. She decided to go to the University of Nebraska at Omaha for a master’s degree in social work and has not regretted it.

Her passion is providing the utmost quality of services to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. When people experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. Cindy ensures her office is a safe place to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their stories. She helps adults, youth, and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe.

The Senior and Associate Pastors welcomed her into the caring ministry in 2007, to care for the people at Covenant. She loves connecting with people as a professional counselor and social worker, incorporating faith in the healing process. Cindy is a licensed clinical social worker and has completed the second level of Gottman Couples Therapy Method, devoting her time, skills, and knowledge providing not only individual counseling, but group counseling in grief and sexual abuse. Cindy also administers and provides oversight to the Board of Deacons and Stephen Ministers.

Cindy’s hometown is Council Bluffs, Iowa.
